Photomontage

  Architectural photomontage renderings are most useful for exterior architectural visualizations.  The process involves blending a photograph of an exterior setting with a designed 3D image in order to portray your design within a realistic context.

The photo quality plays an essential role here.  Among other considerations, the quality of the shot angle and the illumination level will determine the accuracy of the rendering.  It is generally recommended that the entire surroundings of a setting be photographed so that the proper context is captured.

Once the final design of a 3D image is completed, the image is merged with an original photograph and a nearly flawless representation of reality stands before your eyes.  As the rendered image makes up only a part of the final product, it is often quite difficult to distinguish the designed 3d image from other buildings within the photographed setting.
